FDCServers.net moves to Interxion Frankfurt to deliver services leveraging high bandwidth connectivity

Frankfurt, November 18, 2013 – INTERXION HOLDING NV (NYSE: INXN), a leading European provider of cloud and carrier-neutral data centre services, announces that FDCServers.net LLC has recently located their IT infrastructure at Interxion’s Frankfurt campus. “FDCServers.net provides hosting customers with 10 Gb per second server connections and we feel to be globally unrivaled when it comes to price-performance ratio for broadband-intensive applications,” said Petr Kral, cofounder of FDCServers.net. To deliver on this promise, FDCServers.net has chosen a strong partner: Interxion Frankfurt offers excellent connectivity and access to many industry communities at its data access point in Frankfurt.

FDCServers.net is a globally active Internet service provider headquartered in Chicago, USA. The enterprise decided to work with Interxion mainly because of the company’s connections to the data exchange point Frankfurt, including the respective carriers and the Internet exchange point DE-CIX. FDCServers.net access to Zayo*, an international provider of bandwidth infrastructure services (dark fibre, wave, Ethernet, and IP including IP transit) based in the US, was yet another important factor in making this decision. The two business partners meet on Interxion’s campus where they can connect with one another and exchange data. Zayo is amongst the most important partners for FDCServers.net: Zayo provides a monthly capacity of more than 500 Gbps IP transit in the US and in Europe to FDCServers.net and its customers.

“Interxion’s Frankfurt data centres offer everything we need in order to expand into Germany and meet our customers’ demands: excellent connectivity, the highest standards for security, powerful air conditioning, energy-efficiency and power at competitive prices,” said Petr Kral, cofounder of FDCServers.net.

“By making this decision, we have taken a significant step toward providing our customers with superior server housing environment and access to significant internet connectivity in the mid and long-term. For internet connectivity, Zayo is a perfect match for FDCServers.net to deliver the capacity needed to sustain our traffic growth. Our recent expansion into major US markets and the scheduled upcoming deployments in European markets combined with significant demand for 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps unmetered servers, have resulted in a tremendous increase in our global traffic,” Kral adds.

Peter Knapp, Managing Director of Interxion Deutschland GmbH, adds, “We are delighted that FDCServers.net has decided in favour of Interxion as the basis for establishing and expanding its activities in Germany. We offer FDCServers.net the ideal prerequisites with our data centres and digital infrastructure for high data transfer volumes.”
