They appear to be having some routing problems. My systems in 2 separate netblocks are up, but their Level3 IP block seems to have some issues. Are any of your servers in the 216.86.x.x range?

Posted by ImLagging, 11-19-2007, 08:39 PM
I think all of mine are in the 208.x.x.x range.

strange... I have several systems in 208.100.x.x and they all appear to be fine... (now watch, they'll screw up too now that I've said that, haha)

Mines 208.100 as well

Its back up now.

Had a small issue with inbound routes there. It has been repaired, should have only been an issue for a minute or so.

At the moment, I'm unable to access any or my servers nor even your own site. And my monitoring service still hasn't said the servers are back. EDIT: Haha. Leave it to me to speak too soon. I think it's all coming back up now.

Karl, my server's still down and I can't access steadfast.net either. Are you sure it's been fixed? It's been down for 7 minutes now.

Doesn't look repaired to me, both our machines are offline. Edit: Back

Posted by vpncast, 11-19-2007, 08:44 PM
Mines fixed thanks Karl

Ok it's back up now

It took a moment for my servers to come back online. It always happens to me. Steadfast says it's fixed, but at least one of my servers doesn't like what happened and refuses to come back up. This time, they just took their time, but I think they're all back online.

I'm curious, what sort of events / issues generally lead to this sort of problem arising? Overall, only a few minutes out here but I noticed the network playing yoyo for about 15 minutes.

Just in case there's confusion, our Level 3 IP block is 63.208.72.0/24. There's not any customer equipment on that block. The other blocks are all direct allocations and are routed equivalently. 216.86.144.0/20 is older, so older customers are more likely to be there. It's also smaller, so fewer customers are likely to be there.

Guess I should have paid closer attention to the IP database eh?
