X1-services, Circavps Down

X1Services & Circavps - and their vps nodes seem to be down (or the network is down again). Yesterday there was a 10-15 minute network connectivity drop. Today its 30 minutes and growing . Hopefully they fix up whatevers going on , remove any attackers (DDOS if so) or get their hardware repaired...this is pretty frustrating. UPDATE: Connection/Sites up after 1 hour of issues (appx) CURRENT STATUS: ONLINE Last edited by RDOSTI; 11-27-2007 at 12:44 PM.

Just a while ago he posted replies to my posts saying "Im a frequent complainer (or something) and that my facts are baseless (using his own words). However seems you've noticed the same as well.

just curious, why do you stick with them?? (after all the problems you have faced) Do you really use all of the resources they offer or would you rather step down a notch to receive better support/service?? Last edited by RobertMaltby; 11-28-2007 at 03:17 AM.

Do people still host with X1-Services?

Well I like the resources and the clientexec license My clients who use vps through me (from X1) like the offerings...and I add my support to the equation..the problem is when things go wrong...I am liable (obviously) but the resources is what makes clients want to come over in the first place...everyone is hungry for resources...(well most of my clients for the vps section are)...so its having no other second option....If I had a next best option without raising the price .. I would definitely think about it..right now however, what the clients want in terms of resources are only with the x1 group (circa). Again, as I do admit - I do resell from various providers..for the low range high storage capacity...X1 is a good choice...for larger storage requirements I have other providers that do a great job with a fancy 100% uptime...but for the low cost ones with ample storage...depend on X1. As I agree on - their offerings are great...just a bit on the support or uptime side, and I would be a happy man. The good side of this is my higher end vps are provided by a fantastic provider with 100% uptime (so far) but for the lower end vps (B1 series of my offerings) I require something a bit lower costing with some special added stuff (clientexec and more ips do help). Regard

Yea -- The bad thing was, I had a VPS for ~10 months and paid for 1 month.. Don't know how it slipped that far.. Then they changed servers and it was gone.. I ordered another and paid 2 months then decided to cancel and had the vps up for about 6 months later.. I reminded Darin of it and offered to take on "billing" or "account manager" for exchange of a VPS and he said "I am aware of these issues and we're working on getting things resolved".. Im just surprised they are still around -- Darin was great to me and I wish him the best.. He just needs someone else to help "manage" the accounts / customers / company.
