Our VPS is down, as is their website and thier customer area/support desk.

Seems to still be down, including their nameservers. Must be a major outage - another good reason to always separate your nameservers in different datacenters/networks, especially if you're hosting your own authoritative nameservers.

Hopefully everything gets resolved, sometimes when VPS Nodes have problems it does take longer to troubleshoot and fix. Hopefully it is not a serious problem. Keep us updated!

We are having some trouble with one of our VPS nodes. It is not a network issue nor a customer-wide issue, but it is an issue and we are taking careful measures to migrate clients off of that VPS node. Please start a support ticket in the billing department to receive credits for the downtime. This is not our support forum, so for accurate and more updated replies please use your client center (it is hosted off-site).

I would have hoped that a hosting company would understand things well enough to know that there is no point having an off-site client centre if your name servers are both hosted on your main network, and that network goes down (which it has done several times). Also, why bother with an 'announcements' page (which you keep telling us to keep an eye on) if you don't make any announcements?

We always make announcements when something effects us server wide. You are correct about the way our off-site client center is setup, however it was available during this time (our site was not down). We never received a ticket from you, and now that this problem is solved I do not feel that WHT is the best place to further discuss this.

Thread closed as the issue is resolved.
