For reference, the problem is that burst.net has no qualifications to be a reseller. Therefore, burst.net shut down my server without any notification because, in fairness, they apparently were not paid. I will not be renewing with burst.net as their tech support can tell me that the reseller went tits up but they aren't able to deal with in a timely manner.

How exactly would you have us notify you, when we don't even know about you (end-user of our reseller)... ? Please do not take your stress out on us---as we are not at fault in your unfortunate situation. . .

if you had a server with one of burst's reseller who did not pay for the server you are using, then burst has every right to shut down that particular server. How is it their fault? They are only responsible to provide service to YOUR HOST who apparently is a burst's reseller. So when YOUR HOST decided not to pay burst, it is only right for burst to stop providing the service.

I have to agree with Burst on this one! You have to realize that Burst would love to keep your server up as they will also be affect with lost income from you reseller. Its just not allowed in any business practice to override the reseller and STEAL their clients.

Agreeing with Burst here.. they do have the right to pull the server off line.. what can i say we do the same when customers or resellers of server do not pay is only fair on the hosting company
