HostRocket Down?

Hi, My sites are hosted on Hostrocket and all of them are down. Well, even hostrocket.com is down! And their support email does not work either. Any idea what is going on? Any information will be appreciated. Thanks

All of their DNS servers appear to be offline. This is affecting their ViaTalk phone service division as well.

Thanks a lot spaethco. What does that mean? What is usually the cause? And it it only them or their are other hosting companies facing the same problem. Because I noticed that some sites are not working too. I'm really so worried about my data and stuff. Will it be back? Any suggestions on what I should do? Does anyone know how long do such problems take before they are resolved? Thans you so much.

I'm unable to reach anything in their 216.120.224.0/19 netblock, which is where both of their DNS severs appear to live. No details have been published on the outage that I have seen yet. Typical causes of this type of outage can include (but are not limited to) massive DoS attacks, critical equipment failure, site power loss, etc. About all you can do right now is wait for updates.

my sites are all down as well... no emails, site, ftp, or anything is working. please help rocket, and please give me your 1-800 number to call. anyone have the number?

Thanks spaethco. I do hope nothing happens to files and data, my backup is old. Please let me know if youknow anything. Or is there a site I can check to see what is happening or any posts on the hosting situation? Can you give me the link. uwhMike, I don't have the number unfortunately : ( If you know anything please let me know, and I'll do the same. THANKS

Great! : ) One of my sites is working now, but the other is not. I hope it will be back soon. Back email service is not working. I sent some test emails to my account and they have not made their way yet. Thanks dear friends for your support and responsiveness.
