Do you know what happend to myVPShost.com? My VPS has been down for more than a day now and nobody from myVPShost replies my ticket. The support service of myVPShost is horrible now last time my VPS down for 18 hours and nobody supported as well

Have you tried ringing them up: http://who.is/whois-com/ip-address/myvpshost.com/

Thanks for your reply. Yes I tried to ring them but I just received an automatic answer that my call is refused and it told me to try again later.... Is there anybody in US can help me ring myVPShost? It'd be much appreciated. My clients are going crazy as the web is down for 1 day 10 hours now

It's up for me

Really? Maybe yours and mine are in different racks... Mine is still down until now... I couldn't call myvpshost and I received no support yet... Oh the website it says support 24/7 and Customer Service is Online, but nobody answer my ticket for almost 40 hours. This is the second time, last time, it took me 30 hours to receive their answer Last edited by tungnguyen; 08-10-2008 at 12:24 PM.

Whats your domain with them ? That way other users can see if it works for them. But if it really is down for that length of time and no word from support, I'd suggest looking elsewhere as that is completely unacceptable.

I meant their site works

I think he knew that when he stated "My VPS has been down for more than a day now and nobody from myVPShost replies my ticket.".

Of course their site will work as I think they will put it somewhere else different from my host. @ FHH - Tim: My domains: www.lc-ceramics.com www.justheli.co.uk I asked many friends from over the world and none of them can access my sites. After my VPS is back, I'll get the latest databases and transfer to another service which can provide me better support. I'm looking wiredtree.com, is there any other services?

I hope you get your data back. How long have you been with MyVPShost? WiredTree are great to me, I have a dedicated server with them however I do have 2 VPS which I use as well with them. The top two that are in there beside WiredTree would be: 1. Knownhost 2. LiquidWeb I've tried both and they are just as good as each other, however WiredTree says it all for me; they are my provider of the year and they totally rock. - Don't be put off by the pricing of the servers they provide! However if anything and if you aren't able to afford WiredTree's pricing, I'd suggest Knownhost as they aren't overally expensive and great in terms of qaulity. Good luck.

Many thanks for your advice, Johnathan!!! Before I used to have a website hosted at myVPShost and now these are new websites, so totally I've been with myVPShost for almost 4 years and I'm very disappointed that they treat me this way. Now I just hope to get the latest database, that's it

I can confirm your sites are down for me as well. Well you have the perfect place (wht) to find a new host, just make sure to do your research on them first. 4 years is a long time for them to suddenly be very uninterested.

Thanks for your confirmation. It has been down for 2 days and myVPShost has not replied my ticket. It seems they ran away. I just need to get my databases...

Oh my god, my sites are back now, they're back without any notice from myVPShost Anyway, I got the latest databases and am ready to move to another provider.

Well thats good news, I'd suggest backing up your db's in future though, although of course no one expects their host to disappear for a few days

You're absolutely right, I'll try to backup all db as much as I can, well, just in case... lol

I left them as well because their customer support went downhill. Replies to tickets were not made for days, services I asked for (such as the free backup space I was supposed to get) were never setup after waiting quite a long time (months I believe). I was with the company for two years, and then just didn't feel comfortable hosting with them anymore. Went to SolarVPS and couldn't be happier

A damn shame for a hosting company to be up this long and fail short hand when it comes to support and keeping clients happy.
