Posted by taylorwilsdon, 08-14-2008, 01:07 PM
For the 3rd time in the last... month or so, my sites with Cirtex are down for a prolonged period. I'm on the server scratchy and I host http://d3forme.com with them. Anyone else on Scratchy having problems?

Hi Taylor, The datacenter was having some issues with their main uplink and caused downtime, currently we're investigating as Scratchy is still having issues as all servers are fine except two involved. We'll keep everyone posted via our forums and try to resolve this asap. Thank you and sorry for any inconveniences caused. Cheers

No worries, I've been sitting on Live Chat for a half hour, you might want to consider hiring more operators.

I pinged your site and tried some other ports as well, it responds fine. 25 smtp 110 pop 143 imap But when I try port 80 # telnet 208.53.168.57 80 Trying 208.53.168.57... telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused So it looks like just Apache is down.

Hi, When these issues happen the live-chat gets flooded, the best way is just to keep updated via our forums or helpdesk. Thank you very much for your patience. Hi, Yes we're looking into the server problems as http is causing issues, we're narrowing down the problem but the main problem is http flooding to a specific customer causing the problems.
