Sago down AGAIN

as of about 140 PM today, Sago is down again. No access to anything. Another "impossible to predict" power problem?

Actually, it was more like 1:05 p.m. All our off-site monitoring (set for a 3 minute threshold) started throwing alerts just before 1:10 p.m. Eastern. Customer phone calls started rolling in a few minutes after that.

And they dont answer their phone. and my site NEVER comes back without me having to go down there and screw with it, their switch cuts off my router.

We have a full rack in DC2 that is still dark. Their portal announcement says this was another power outage.

In a place that they swore would NEVER have power outages.

Attention customers, The UPS failed during a switch over to the generator and our UPS servicing company worked with our staff on the issue to get it fixed right away. The generator, routers, and power company was not the failing point, but the UPS battery banks were the fault during this outage. The UPS issue this time isolated the final weak link in the chain of the UPS battery bank system. We have fixed this find weak point in the UPS battery system and have completed 3 full load tests and fail-overs since the repairs this time around. We therefore know, by virtue of these last three fail-overs, that the UPS and redundant systems CAN handle any power failure and hold the full load of the data center during any loss of power from the utility company. We cannot apologize enough to the affected customers for this second outage in 2 weeks. Power and network connectivity should be good for all customers so please only submit one ticket at this time if your server(s) is unreachable. Thank you.
