Is anyone else having problems accessing servers at leaseweb's easynet location? all ips in same range as my server there dont ping as well as the apc port.

My sites are down too (hosted with EuroVPS, in the Leaseweb/Easynet facility). Lot of downtime this summer, curious what's happening at Easynet.

It's actually a maintenance window for a test of the routers following on from the router failiure during July... it seems the maintenance has gone wrong too however!! Typical - im just glad my production boxes are at Schuberg Philis

Yeah, I preferred servers located in Schuberg Philis too. I don't recall there ever being downtime.

Does anyone have any background information on exactly why Leaseweb seem unable to resolve these problems in the past few weeks up to and including today's maintenance gone wrong?

Yea it's getting ridiculous. EuroVps is starting to look bad because of this, even though they may not have control over this. Simply put, I pay for uptime I dont get one. That is a customer point of view.

I've just checked my records and the last major downtime in SBP was in March 2006 (over 2 years ago) when there was an electrical failiure for a few hours! Other than the odd network spike every now and again, its been pretty solid since December 2004 - it's a shame and a mystery why one facility is more stable than the other; I guess it's just bad luck?!

I just remembered the e-mail from a few days ago: According to the timezone converter I found with a quick Google search, it's 4:45 a.m. (0445) in Amsterdam. That means another hour and 15 minutes of "test window". I think I'll go take a nap and come back later. So much for working on a site tonight.

If you check the actual noc.leaseweb.com site under maintenance that notice has had several updates explaining what's happened: I can now access my site again. However what isn't clear is whether this problem will occur again if anything goes wrong with the primaries.

Ah, I didn't think to check the MAINTENANCE page: http://noc.leaseweb.com/maintenance.php I was only looking at the STATUS page. Duly noted. However, hopefully it's information I'll never need again. Until recently, I'd never bothered with the noc.leaseweb site. I'd prefer it that way again.

I did check the maintenance page before I emailed them but dont recall seeing anything although I guess I may not have checked it properly, they did reply to me when it was fixed. Like everyone else tho I am concerned have they actually fixed the problem or did they simply abort the maintenance because it went horribly wrong. I agree also in regards to SBP, SBP is very stable, evoswitch isnt as stable but not as bad as easynet which has been dropping loads recently.
