Crissic and DataHostDirect Down...

This is becoming a very regular occurence at their DC... Time to put in my cancellation requests and move on... I know that they are not at fault - but when the DC fails to keep them online - it is a real problem when they both fail to communicate that with their customers... A Grateful Dad

Crissic is probably hosted at LSN which is down atm.

Both of these sites seem to be online! might be in the same DC as Limestonenetwork.com

That would be correct that Crissic is located on LSN.

I have a vps over at DHD and it is down right now, from the posts that I am reading it appears that this is a normal occurance?

My vps just recovered. not to bad on the downtime.

Yes there is an outage at LSN:- http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=723050 So it is not actually them to be blamed. P.S. It seems that DHD is using Crissic's nameservers and their IP is pointed towards SolarVPS. Not sure whether it has something to do with this though.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to clear up some things. For over a month, everyday, our node has had 100% ping and along with our website. I host my website with Crissic's at SolarVPS. We do this to ensure our customers can still submit tickets if an outage does occur. The outage this morning was resolved as far as I know. All of the DHD VPS's are online and working now. I had two clients come into our live chat and we explained to them it was a network outage. I also sent out a mass email to all active clients with a VPS describing the problem and that we were down. Stated above, for more than a month we have been receiving 100% uptime, so no this is not a "very regular occurance". I am not sure with Crissic, but we are not one company and I cannot speak for him. Sorry for the inconvenience the outage caused our customers. Regards, Nick Kitmitto

Nick, I am happy with the service that I have received from DHD. This was a minor occurrence and your responses have been acceptable.

Nick - yes, sorry, that was broad statement... We have had very good luck with you... On the other hand - we have had terrible service from Crissic - random reboots and the VPS fails to come online, network outages, etc... Sorry for the generalization - it was aimed more at the DC than you. A Grateful Dad Last edited by A Grateful Dad; 09-17-2008 at 12:24 PM.

crissic.com is hosted at SolarVPS and the VPS nodes are at the LSN DC, Right now we cannot do anything because there is a problem with one of LSN's service providers. The provider is Internap.

We are trying to figure out the random reboot issue. The weird thing is that it only happens to some VPS's.
