Crucialwebhost server down
Posted by thinlight, 09-19-2008, 08:47 PM |
I don't know how many crucial's users are suffering the same thing. My server has been down for about 20 hours.
The guys finally gave me an answer 6 hours after the ticket was submitted, 'failed Drive Array in data center', in short.
I think an email should be sent to me when this thing occurs, but need not to get this news from friends, 'hey, your site is down!'
I should also get an email when they changed the server IP address months ago. But I didn't.
Still I don't know when I can access my site.

Instead of relying on your provider, use a free site monitor like http://host-tracker.com . This way you will be alerted as soon as your site goes down.

My crucial server went down Thursday afternoon with the disk drive failure. It's now 7:30 PM Saturday(ET)evening and still no service.
