DHD Down?

Just was advised that my site that I have through DHD is down. checked my hyperVM panel, it gives me a kernel fault. tried to go to their site, it's down also? any idea? got an e-mail a couple days ago saying they were switching servers, but this would be on through the 31st sure i'd only be out my $5 if they go away, but the couple weeks I had it, it was pretty solid and I was happy with it.

I believe they are transferring to a new data centre, I got an email giving me advance warning.

I was aware of that, I was under the impression that it would be happening on the 8th though, and that my VPS would be live until 10/31 Here is the e-mail I got Data Host Direct strives to provide phenomenal service for all of our customers. We are constantly looking for better ways to serve our customers, making changes easier, or making sure your service doesn't go down. Last week we were forced into a position to change our server provider. This is a very unfortunate event, and we regret starting DHD with the company we did. But, we must change the provider and this will require and IP change for your VPS. You're VPS may go offline for a couple of minutes while the transfer is going on. Anything done after 12AM GMT will not be transferred. Your VPS on the current server will be live until October 31st at 12AM. At that time, the whole server will be turned off. Each customer will be individually contacted and notified of their new IP address before Wednesday, October 8th. If you have any questions or special requests about the move, please contact NKitmitto@DataHostDirect.com. Regards, Data Host Direct Administration but unfortunately their site is down, so I'm assuming he didn't get my e-mail. i sent him a message on AIM, hopefully I hear something back.

Mine is down as well, I did get in contact with Nick and he is looking into it.

We had our server rebooted and it booted into the wrong kernal, we have all of our techs booting it into the right kernal. Sorry for the inconvenience, I will keep you guys posted!

Data Host Direct suffered from an outage as our provider rebooted our server and the server got booted into the wrong kernel. Everything is working steady now and every VPS is now back online. Our website was shut down also, near the same time. Our website is not located on our server but miraculously was shut down. We had to switch where the website was hosted and now it is also back up. Everything at Data Host Direct is back up and running smoothly. If you are a client and have any questions, please submit a support ticket! Regards, Nick Kitmitto
