Any updates from globalcon/gipnetwork? I am sure this was unexpected downtime. Thanks

I just returned from the Datacenter (live 10 mins from there) and spoke with Reyner. They've working on the issues as some fiber lines have been cut in the area. They're working as hard as they can to re-route the traffic. Know that eventhough we're experiencing major storms, no power was lost in the DC. It's purely connectivity issues. I'm in the same boat.

Hello, First, I would like to apologize to our customers and users for what happened 3-4 days ago. This situation was caused by a fiber cut that took 2 hours to fix but had gone worse and turned out to be longer. To make the matter worst, the failover did not work due to a faulty supervisor card which was not visible until we reload the router. As of now, our network has been fixed with the BGP multi-home restored. I also would like to thank you for the wonderful moral supports from our customers. We are privileged to serve some of the most generous and courteous customers in this industry which have been great sources of encouragement to us. This was the first major downtime we've experienced in the last 8 years since the first day we are in business. As much as we never wanted it to happen, this incident was also a blessing in disguise. It has taught us valuable experiences on how to handle this type of situation. We would not be as ready as today if it was not for this incident. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Best regards,
