Scheduled Maintenance Our site is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance to upgrade our systems in order to better serve you. Of course, it would be nice if they forewarned us about this so called "scheduled" maintenance. << removed >> Last edited by writespeak; 10-04-2008 at 10:25 AM.

Did they indicate how long this may last?

""Starting at 6 PM PT on Friday, October 3rd, 2008 until Saturday, October 4th at 2 AM PT, we will be conducting maintenance on our database and datacenter.....""

No they updated it from 8pm to 8am est but it's well beyond that by 4+ hours now. Someone screwed up.

I think you've probably cached something - there were intermittent connectivity issues after the initial maintenance window (we cron'd re-enabled the renewing and registering of domains based on the published finish time +2 hours in case of overruns) which meant a couple of failed api calls right after, but manually renewed those domains just fine ~9am UK time

Oh heck, I may indeed be cached. Last edited by aww; 10-06-2008 at 01:31 AM.

"YOU GOT CACHED!" would make a great tech TV show, lol. Happens to all of us. Best, Rick
