Hostingpuppy.com giving 500 Internal Server Error. Anyone have info?

Posted by dstrains, 05-07-2009, 03:21 PM
Hi All. This is my first post. I'm trying to get to hostingpuppy.com to post a support ticket but when I go to their site I get a 500 Internal Server Error. I've been trying all day (6 hours now). Does anyone know what's going on?

Try sending a direct email to support@hostingpuppy.com. Sounds like they are having an issue with their webserver, however the server seems to be responsive so maybe they will still recieve the email. If not maybe whois the domain for their contact information at whois.sc

Yea, still getting the error. Like nexbyte said, try sending a direct email and see if you get a response. I hope this gets resolved soon .

You may want to have a look at the following thread/page as well:- http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...=730110&page=7 It looks like their upstream provider participates here to help clear customer's doubt but the provider itself is ignoring the issue and not working on anything.

In this case I suppose that you can use phone in case of emergencies

Looks like it is working fine now. Make sure to get the latest copy of backup of your site as soon as possible.

Its not a major issue. Might be some permission issue with the page hosted at that location or a wrong .htaccess file in that location. Just drop them an email at support@hostingpuppy.com or sales@hostingpuppy.com to contact them and inform them about this issue.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Their site seems to be back online for me as well, however the high-priority support ticket I submitted over 76hrs ago is still in "unassigned" status. They used to reply to support tickets relatively quickly. It seems that things are going south over there.

When did they start to have such issues of slow reply to tickets?

In my experience with them, the issues have been going on for over a year. I don't know why they don't like to respond to support tickets (or anything else), but I got tired of being dissed and finally moved on.
