Has anyone heard anything about VPSLink? Not only my sites but all of their sites (homepage, forums, etc) are down. I'm not sure but I think they are part of Spry.com who's homepage is up at this time. Hanks.

They are down and I can't access the server neither my backups on server ( ah I was lazy to download them ) . They had also problem couple of nights ago but it didn't last for long. Now seems their whole site is down as like servers . SPRY site is online but I can't access their forums so something is going on. I just hope that I will get my backups downloaded . spry and vpslink are the same company vpslink is their low cost offering.

We know VPSLink is Division Of SPRY ( low cost offering ) , what we don't know what's going on my.vpslink.com is back , but can't log in yet

It doesn't look good right now. When I try to trace to my IP it doesn't make it all the way there, the last hop is a Spry.com router. It sucks not knowing whether it is *just* an outage or something worse (as is going out of business).

Anyone tried ringing them at 24x7 (Toll Free) - 1.888.808.SPRY I'm sure they're aware of the problem.

I think is outage or hackers attack , they will be back for sure but question is will our sites be there for sure or they would use some old data backup of our servers Nah I didn't phone them I'm not in US .

Strange that the Spry.com forum is down, it's on the same subnet as their website which loads instantly. Makes you wonder what is going on.

It's possibly isolated to the distribution switch closest to vpslink. I hope all will be backup and running. Regards

i logged in my site "via SSH" and start mysql and all are fine at the moment but i cant check https://my.vpslink.com/

Wiki and forums still down; my.vpslink.com says some servers unreachable; VPS rebooted. I'm betting it's a power outage.

you can reach your site and FTP with your IP adress domains still down i made full backup right now and copying it to my computer

I have a VPS with them, and it is definitely NOT up yet. I can't PING or SSH into it. I also can't get the https://my.vpslink.com/ site work well enough to restart it. I hope they get his sorted soon. So do VPSLink have a relationship with bitpusher?

This is what a staff member of VPSLink said in IRC: Basically most if not all nodes lost power due to the event described above and it took sometime (2+ hours) before power was restored and nodes and VMs brought back up. I have 3 VPS (2 Link-4s and a Link-5) with VPSLink and I have to say this is the worst incident they have had. Last edited by The Universes; 05-19-2009 at 02:49 AM.

BitPusher has no relationship with Spry/VPSLink. We just happen to be in the same datacenter. We experienced approximately a 2 hour and 20 minute power outage this evening. We're waiting for a root cause analysis from our datacenter provider, but it had something to do with a failed UPS. Once the details are up we'll post them on our blog/tweet about them.
