4th time in what time period? 4th time in a week? Month? Have you been using a monitoring service to monitor your VPS uptime? A good third party monitoring service is www.pingdom.com. If so, you can see when it has been down and when it came back up. It should also provide a nice little total amount of minutes your VPS has been down as well Short notice maintenance unfortuantly will happen from time to time. If a hard drive is about to give out, we would rather shoot off a quick email saying we're taking the server down to copy the drive, and then proceed with taking it down, rather then sending off a email saying we would take the server down in 48 hours, and then have the drive die before the 48 hour mark hit, ouch. But yeah, the main node being down 4 times in a day/week/month period is fairly substantial. It's the weekend, so that may explain their slow replies, but usually the weekend only effects sales departments. Who knows, but maybe it's time to find a new provider. I will however go and say that a quick search on WHT (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search...archid=8661158) reveals many good reviews for Soloar VPS. They seem to be the real deal, so you may wish to stick with em and get the issue fixed. Is your VPS down, or is the whole node down? I found out that they use Virtuozzo. Have you attempted restarting your container via your Virtuozzo panel. Douglas (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/member.php?u=33345) is the rep from solar VPS here on WHT. I'm sure they he can maybe help you out our explain what happened to your VPS once he gets back online. You may wish to shoot him a private message. However, I doubt they monitor webhostingtalk for support requests, so I'd guess that you will still receive the fastest answer to your problems via their support system/client area.

sorry forgot to mention, 4th time within the last 10days. I monitor my vps with hyperspin at 5min interval, and I won't post here if I can login to vzpp.

meneketehe, it would be advisable to check our forums, since we've been doing scheduled maintenance and keeping our customers updated via our forums (after notifying them via email). We did have one server that was causing problems that we haven't announced as of yet, but all other planned/unplanned issues have been announced.
