So, I am trying to migrate all of my domains away from 1and1, and sure enough, even their home page is down right now! I am sooo done with them...

This is the second down time I've seen reported in less than 3 days at 1and1. Is it that common? Their website is pingable but not reachable on port 80. Regards

Looks like it is back up now. I had better get in there ninja style to transfer those domains.... Adios 1and1!

That's odd, you'd think such a large web host would be able to avoid things like this.

I am still seeing slow and degraded performance when trying to access their site.

Issues happen. I'd rather have their site go down than their customers'.
