It was The Planet's fault from what LB are saying. LB requested some security updates via ACL's this made the API and CP/Supersite and partnersite URL's fluctuate (or just totally go offline) Chris

Indeed that was fast by simply looking at the time stamps on WHT posts.

well you might or might not know the actual story what is going on. As of now their Windows Server hosting platform is down again... This has been going on since Thursday, they first said it was down to security problems, then a network ACL issue, and now back to a windows OS problem. Today being the 1st November, sites are not resolving. And they last updated was 0800 GMT : So most if not all Windows hosting sold via the DI/LB OrderBox will have this problem. Ill update the thread when I actually see an update on the LB site... (I wont hold my breath as the updates arent exactly quick).

Oh well, 8 hours passed and the platform also has problems with authenticating NEW resellers. So it would appear LogicBoxes are using the same Windows servers for their hosting as well as other processes within the OrderBox platform - their online support has also gone AWOL. Are any RC resellers/OrderBox registrars experiencing reseller/customer signup problems where their account is not being activated?

Thank you for the updates NEO.

I just heard from one of my old customers, that the Windows hosting service of RC is down since 6 days. From their website, I can see that it is down since 1 day. What is the truth? Anybody knows?

They started having "issues" that I know of on the 28th October, before that I do not know. Here is an updfate from the LB site : Looking at the OrderBox platform it still has problems even if the above is true... However as today is Monday, they might actually have some DEV's in now to look at things, DI/LB development department are a Monday through Friday bunch...

Or more importantly is everything back to normal?

Posted by Varun Motasha, 11-06-2009, 06:15 AM
Everything is back to normal now. There were 2 separate attempts, within 7 days, by some miscreants to compromise the security of our servers. We have now put in place a series of complex measures to ensure that subsequent attempts are thwarted.

Thanks for the update.
