Gigenets own website down?

Hi there,
is it just me or is gigenet.com as well as manage.gigenet.com down? Cannot reach it during the last 10mins...
The server I have with them is perfectly up and fast responding. So it does not seem to be a general problem in their DC.

Yes gigenet.com even it's down here. But https://support.gigenet.com/ is working fine at my end.

Wow... Quite a long time already!
It is good that the support site and customers servers are not affected (at least mine is running perfectly fine), but I wonder what is going on. *Suspense*

When I contacted them they just told me it was emergency maintainence. must be serious to take the site down for this long.... was looking to place an order with them also..

The support site appears to be hosted at Softlayer Dallas...

It is worth it!
@lockbull - it is a common practice for companies to host their website at a different provider other than their own network to ensure communication with their clients in case anything does happen to their infrastructure.
