Posted by arunciks, 01-29-2012, 09:53 PM
Lets hope.. I would love to get my files back at least.. :9.. its been like 2 weeks now... and no replies from them... so it might be worse too..

Posted by Smeagle, 02-01-2012, 02:25 PM
I'm surprised to find out this scam is still online! They ran away with my VPS and data a couple of months ago, just look it up. After they denied refunding me through PayPal, I filed a fraud complain with Santander/VISA and got my money back the hard way. Their domain is pointing to Apache's default index right now, so I hope they are now gone for real...

Posted by arunciks, 02-01-2012, 04:29 PM
Hmm .. I wish they would just allow a chance to get some data back... I might need to go same way with paypal and visa adn try to get money back.. really frustrating

Posted by Smeagle, 02-01-2012, 05:49 PM
Sorry to hear that. Did you get any response from them over the past couple of days? Their MX records are leading to dreamhost.com mail servers, which are in a different network and DC. There's no excuse for them not to be getting those e-mails.

Posted by arunciks, 02-01-2012, 05:52 PM
0 replies form them... multiple emails to kazetech email addresses.. and even paypal.. yahoo address.. nothing back... really getting fed up with cheap vps providers.. this is maybe 3rd time... so almost leaning of getting physical server and maybe splitting into 5-6 vpses and leasing out to share the cost...

Posted by arunciks, 02-17-2012, 11:08 AM
I guess they ran away bastards.... now they are in the deadpool on lowendbox site too and referencing this post..

Posted by BudgetNodeVPS, 02-17-2012, 11:19 AM
BreatHost has gone down because of this, they've done a runner too.

Posted by KMyers, 02-17-2012, 11:32 AM
What was the Miami Address, I live in miami

Posted by BudgetNodeVPS, 02-17-2012, 11:54 AM
REGISTRANT CONTACT INFO BreatHost Ltd. Daniel Serjey 36 NE 2nd Street Miami Florida 33132

Posted by BudgetNodeVPS, 02-17-2012, 12:03 PM
Ah very strange! So, KazeTech is registered to Zulkhairi Aliasan of 36 NE 2nd Street and BreatHost Daniel Serjey of 36 NE 2nd Street - They must live in the same house and be like hosting buddies!

Posted by Smeagle, 02-17-2012, 12:25 PM
Isn't that Telx's facility address? I'm not sure who owns that building, but it has been used as a DC for sure. So yeah, don't even bother reaching their doorstep, probably this scammer has never been there. Btw, it was widely discussed the relationship between Kazetech and BreatHost over here, I don't know why someone would have joined the later once Kazetech went down. And the worst of all is that people on twitter seem to be clueless about what's going on... For their sake I hope their backups are up-to-date!

Posted by KMyers, 02-17-2012, 12:30 PM
Yes, it used to be IBMs location. Why these companies use their Data Centers addresses are beyond me.

Posted by kpmedia, 02-17-2012, 12:53 PM
That address is for Colohouse: http://colohouse.com So the whois details are fake for Kazetech. . .

Posted by Smeagle, 02-17-2012, 11:51 PM
Telx claims the building is owned by Digital Realty Trust, it seems like everyone owns or rents a piece of the place. Anyway, it's hard to say "fake" because we can't assume few-months-old hosts to be stabilished companies with office and whatnot. Those are clearly "one-man businesses", ran by a guy sitting in his livingroom, which I wouldn't call a big deal as long as he is skilled, responsible (which is clearly not the case) and has someone to back him up. Maybe I'm too soft on that, but I guess it should be acceptable that they wouldn't want their WHOIS info leading to their home addresses. So, BreatHost just tweeted a couple of minutes ago:

Posted by DeltaAnime, 02-18-2012, 12:27 AM
It's funny because the breasthost guy keeps claiming he has 100% no relation to kazetech. Breat used to resell/use kazetechs server, even have RDNS that stated so, but Breat claimed otherwise. Oh well. Francisco

Posted by Smeagle, 02-18-2012, 01:34 AM
Yeah, Breathost.com rDNS used to output "ovza.kazetech.com". Not too long ago, after Kazetech was shut down, I resolved to their website and it was hosted on the node "ovza.breathost.com". Both companies are tangled up in every possible way, there's no way to deny it.

Posted by BudgetNodeVPS, 02-18-2012, 12:16 PM
Just seen the tweet on BreatHost, did anyone else laugh when they saw about the arrest? Also yes, I saw the post where Daniel claimed KazeTech had no relation. However, their control panel was named KazeTech before they switched to SolusVM. They clearly have something to hide.. Why make such a big deal out of which other services you are linked too? Anyway, ordered a SemoWeb VPS - They are similar prices to BreatHost/KazeTech if anyone is looking for a new VPS. Last edited by BudgetNodeVPS; 02-18-2012 at 12:29 PM.

HAHA I totally did! I don't know why, but first thing that came to me in mind when I read that was "the only person behind BreatHost has been taken into custody over stealing his High School teacher. This is his mommy updating". I didn't know their CP was the same at first. It's funny how even their lack of renponsiveness and reckless behavior towards serious issues is exactly the same! Possibly good news for users like arunciks. Let's see how that goes...

Hello, Thank you for the opportunity, I am confident you are going to enjoy our services

Posted by KMyers, 02-18-2012, 01:58 PM
Hey, I just noticed something that I missed in one of the first posts. It is possible that this could be John C Young as he would only use his initials as his email address. His address was jcy@igsobe.com. Igsobe.com is resolving to a CentOS Apache Welcome screen which could imply they may have also gone out of business. They used to also offer "Miami Hosting" and ironically it was in the EXACT same building. Search WHT for "Igsobe" if you dont know the background story Could this be a coincidence, maybe...

Posted by BudgetNodeVPS, 02-18-2012, 02:21 PM
It is more than likely going to be him. When are you going to find another John Young with the initials John C Young who will only use his initials in his email address, who is from Miami? You aren't.

Posted by BudgetNodeVPS, 02-18-2012, 02:23 PM
Might give the number on BreatHost's domain a ring shortly.

Posted by Smeagle, 02-18-2012, 02:30 PM
Holy cow... How is it that someone who pissed off so many people is still allowed to have a verified account on PayPal selling the very same service?!?!

Posted by Tripler, 02-18-2012, 02:58 PM
I am pretty sure thats their corporation, the name is womans or mans name is really similar, they have the same company name, etc.

Zulkhairi Aliasan is related to Sparkgate. http://forum.lxcenter.org/index.php?t=msg&goto=71897& Which disappeared / deadpooled: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1602157 Scammers never seem to disappear -- just change "business" names. According to his lxcenter profile, Date Of Birth: Tue, November 30, 1999 So your "host" is a 12-year-old. Figures. It also gives an alternate email of support@animedaisuki.co.cc Not really. You need to narrow the parameters. . . Last edited by kpmedia; 02-18-2012 at 04:45 PM.

These scammers need to be brought to justice... court or street...

Breathost Ltd aka Internet Gateway Of South Beach LLC is registered company in Florida and their company details in official company registry of Florida State seems like this.

FYI I'm from Malaysia. Not all Asians are scammers, EU, US have scammers as well, but not all of them. I'm not trying to be racist, but apparently the one who's scamming you guys are a Malay guy, and most of the Malays do negative stuffs on the internet, scamming, spamming, phishing etc. The number stated on their WHOIS (+60.165768674) is a mobile number in Malaysia, using Digi's service. In your country i'd file a police report for scamming on the internet, but in Malaysia? The "cops" are pure idiots and know nothing about IT. They are inefficient and pretty useless when it comes to when you are filling a report against a Malay guy, because 99% of the "cops" in Malaysia are Malays. You need to pay them some amount of cash which what we called "coffee-money"

It looks down from here.

I don't how these companie(s) manage to stay out of administration, it was only last week breathost were giving all customers a free upgrade and credit because of a DDoS, now they are back down again. Maybe we will see it soon? Last edited by BudgetNodeVPS; 02-19-2012 at 07:10 AM.

Posted by arunciks, 02-20-2012, 01:33 AM
Thanks Ventrix.. i didn't say all asians are scammers.. .. lots of things come fro europe.. too.. I just say someone who is or uses asian credentials most likely from somewhere there.. .. I think its easier that way.. and even if you in one of the countries..in EU its easier to pay some homeless person couple $$ and get company registered under their name.... So not sure if Malay dude is even the one that claims under that name..

Posted by arunciks, 02-20-2012, 01:36 AM
If it has any connection with same ppl in Kazetech.. just take data when you can and run.. .. make complaint on paypal get as much money as you can... Sorry I got burned by these companies 3 times (voltVPS, Kazetech..etc) and now as soon as my finances allow I am getting some physical server.... Most of these cheapos companies don't even have address listed.. or phone... they get cpl hundred ppl .. get some money and then runs away...

According to PayPal I have to return the items, which I marked in the claim as 'Virtual Goods' - Anyway, BreatHost's address on PayPal is:

Posted by KMyers, 02-20-2012, 01:01 PM
Hello,

Posted by BudgetNodeVPS, 02-20-2012, 01:07 PM
That wasnt what I meant. Even though the claim is marked as a Virtual Good they are still asking for my parcel tracking number.

Posted by KMyers, 02-20-2012, 01:08 PM
May I ask how long it has been since you sign up for their hosting?

Posted by BudgetNodeVPS, 02-20-2012, 01:11 PM
3 or 4 months. Last invoice I paid about 2 weeks ago.

Posted by KMyers, 02-20-2012, 01:12 PM
Then I hate to say, you will have almost no chance of recovering any funds via PayPal, Sometimes PayPal may side with the buyer if the purchase was made in the psst 45 days (its rare but has happened). Your best course of action is to move on to another host.

Posted by BudgetNodeVPS, 02-20-2012, 01:14 PM
7 x 2 = 14 Well within the 45 day period. I have already moved to another host.

Posted by KMyers, 02-20-2012, 01:15 PM
No, it would be from the initial point of purchase (3-4 months ago)

Posted by BudgetNodeVPS, 02-20-2012, 01:17 PM
I have already checked with them and they are willing to refund the money. Just waiting for them to bypass the returns check. Each month I am paying for the product and recieving it.

Posted by arunciks, 02-20-2012, 03:56 PM
In the past I was able to get 2 or 3 months money back from paypal when voltvps went down..it just needed to be within 45days and seller didnt reply back to paypal..... I missed this deadline with kazetech..
