Hostdime network problems

Anyone else having problems with HostDimes network? Their site is loading very slowly and so are my servers.

Problems here. Even their corporate site(s) are having issues.

Hello all, We are still investigating a possible isolated routing issue but as stated, all issues are resolved at this time. Thank you,

Most likely they were suffering from a DDOS attack, it would be nice if they could update their customers accordingly with more info.

Hello,

As I already stated, we are investigating the issue and will happily post more once we have further details. At this time we are leaving all possibilities open. Thank you

Agreed, Dennis posted within 15 minutes of this thread being made which is great. I'd rather see them working on the problem rather than posting on WHT about why and how it happened. (Sure they could do that after the issue was resolved)

Hello, At this time, we can confirm that we did have a very short-lived isolated issue that caused network instability for a portion of our customers. The issue was narrowed down to be a routing loop between our network cores which caused increased latency as well as some packet loss. We have isolated the problem, and taken corrective action to ensure that we can avoid similar situations in the future. Thank you and have a great day

Thanks for the update! Always good to hear what the root cause of an issue was.

Again? Multiple machines of ours are down.

It may be isolated, mine seems fine

Posted by KnownHost-Jonathan, 02-21-2012, 05:30 PM
I haven't noticed any issues today.

They confirmed the issue, via facebook and tickets, you guys must be on a different switch ;p
