We expect at maximum one hour down time when we are migrating from HyperVM to SolusVM. It is possible that there is a short down time. This is caused by backupping your VPS, if we don’t stop your VPS there is a risk that the files will be damaged in the backup (not in the VPS).
My VPS is down already 6 hours. What is the maximum expected downtime?

Hello,
this is the expected down time, the down time for the node marielle.yourwebhoster.eu is longer because we have to install the server again due some software problems. A re-installation is faster then looking for the error.

This can take some more hours then expected, we are sorry about that.

Note: Our website is offline because it is also running on a VPS. We have installed our web servers on a VPS because this is easier to backup and restore. But we are currently backupping the server and re-configurering the node.

Here an update:
we are currently experiencing problems with some servers and/or a switch. We don't know what the problem is and we are exploring what the problem could be. The backups are made of all servers to external locations and will be restored when the servers are accessible again.

We are sorry about this problem and we will contact our clients when this problem are solved. We expect that the down time will cost at maximum one day, we hope we can solve the problems earlier but we currently don't have any idea if the problems are caused by our switch or by the new installed software.

Note that this is only a small part of all the servers we have, most servers are clustered and for business clients.

Please read my second reply in this topic.

The switch will be replaced, however it take some time before it is configured correctly.

waiting for your services to be up soon.
thanks.

The switch and servers will be online within one day. We have found the problem and are rebuilding this part of our network infrastructure: this will increase the speed in the future.

ETA 24 Hours max. We have to restore every backup to the affected servers as we need to re-install them and configure them.

Note: We will compare this down time by an offer or by giving credits to the affected customers. More information about this will be send when all servers are online again because some clients have their e-mail on our servers.

Most clients are back online now, we are still restoring some files.

The node marielle.yourwebhoster.eu had a delay because we had to replace a hard disk, the hard disks are in hardware RAID 1 again.

Our website will be back within a few hours.

marielle.yourwebhoster.eu again down for several hours? When it will be online?

The server is back online. There was a hardware failure, it should work now.
