Serverboost down

Posted by adrianctn, 10-28-2009, 03:28 AM
Hi guys,

Serverboost had a planned maintenance time for switching to a new datacenter. The move was supposed to last 1-2 hours.

Right now it has been over 6 hours and my server is not online yet.

Is your Serverboost server down too ?

Thanks Prajyot,

Already submitted a ticket. All other means of contact are closed. Actually, this may be for the better, maybe they are trying to fix things as we speak.

The only working website on their network seems to be serverboost.com.

We have 20 boxes there, well over 6 hours down already without an update. Good night to take time off and not answer your customers

Hi Toolz77,

You have quite alot of boxes :-). I guess Jelle made you a very good offer.

Are you running a hosting business ? I can't imagine what would one do with 20 boxes .

Something is better than nothing, Unixas.

Just got an answer from Jelle on Skype. He is hard at work.

I didn't bother him with questions so he can take his time to resolve the problems.

I3D moved everything to a new datacenter without letting anyone know, customers and even the provider where they had services didn't know until last night.

Uhm.....I3D ?

Aren't I3D and Serverboost two different companies ?

As I understand they share(d) a provider called WeDare.

As far as i know serverboost is an I3D customer/reseller.

Their IP:

mnt-by: MNT-I3D

Santema,

It seems you are correct.

I guess that this means that there are I3D customers that are offline right now also.

Strangely, I don't see any of them posting on WHT.

What else can you tell us ?

Thanks !

One question,

How did you get that information about their IP address ?

I am unable to discover it.

Thanks !

Serverboost.nl -> 213.163.85.36

Ripe whois -> http://www.db.ripe.net/whois?form_ty...x=8&submit.y=7

On the bottom, route information . I'm not sure if they only have own servers, i thought they also resell i3d dedicated server, but again, i'm not sure about it.

As an update, it seems that my server is back up.

I've been talking with Jelle on Skype, he told me that it all got delayed because of some issues with WeDare.

Hopefully, it will all be well.

We got mail 2-3 weeks ago. And same day in morning when moving was scheduled.
