Graxis Outage, How many people?

Posted by Mister Bob, 03-05-2010, 09:33 PM
Hi,

Seems that DCLayer/Graxis is at it again. Not only my server, but a co-worker is offline as well.

The irritating fact is that when I first reported the outage, they asked me for trace routes to diagnose the issue. This is not the first time, so this time I was prepared.

After receiving my response, they discovered, accord to the email, that their main switch was not coming online.

Is anyone else there being affected by this? After the outage/move in January, then a switch replacement earlier this month, is this whats to be expected?

Don't take this the wrong way, I honestly do like Graxis, Dominic and Jose do provide stellar information.. when they have it.

I'm just curious if this is new for them, or just another incident in a long string of events, needless to say my customers are getting a little irritated.

Thanks, Hopefully these are isolated issues!

My server is down as well. It is affecting all servers that are hosted with them. I, like you, love their service and I've been with them almost a year now, but I really do hate that their network goes down so often. Up until maybe November of last year I never had any network issues with them, but now a days its becoming far too frequent for my liking, especially when you have to explain to your customers every other month why their VPS or website is down. I hope they get it back up ASAP.

I haven't heard anything about an outage from them.. I'll poke someone and see if I can't get them to this thread. FWIW, it's in the wrong forum.

Issue has been resolved - all servers should be online at this time.

If your server is still experiencing issues - please contact Technical Support.

in their announcement say all servers was affected, i was 5 hours offline, how many ur server was offline?

im asking for a credit in the next invoice, remember the SLA they offer 99.98% uptime guarantee, with the outage we had already %99.32, but they want a monitoring report i just ask they if are kidding me, they know the problem, the make a public notice and still need that.

I just hope they make valid my SLA if not i can do legal rigth ppl?
