My iPanel does not seem to be working. Whole website is down, no way to reach customer support.

Down 3.5h+ and no updates. Very concerning.
I can't find their twitter nor any other source

The connection has timed out
The server at ihostdev.com is taking too long to respond.

Posted by Jakd, 04-05-2010, 05:57 PM

Actually, it has been down since about 11:00AM ~ 11:15AM EST

Posted by bostondaniel, 04-05-2010, 07:29 PM
I posted outage about 20 min after I realized something was wrong. Thanks for clarification regarding actual outage.

This is very disappointing on ihostdev's part.

I totally agree with you, I cant even answer support tickets, nor activate any packages.
I have no idea who to contact now, this is really aggravating.

Ah, so this is why iPanel is so slooooooooow today.

Posted by Jakd, 04-06-2010, 12:48 AM
it's back up now

Posted by bostondaniel, 04-06-2010, 11:47 AM
Have anyone received response from support why they were down? I've sent Urgent support ticket in the morning and I haven't received the answer yet. It is extremaly difficult to get in touch with support. I'm also waiting for 3+ days for another ticket.

Posted by Jakd, 04-06-2010, 12:51 PM
No response regarding the reason for the downtime.. lets hope it doesn't happen again.

Posted by InnovusHost, 04-06-2010, 12:52 PM
It has happened before, at least a few times. When it does, it makes the control panel pretty much impossible to use.

Posted by Jakd, 04-09-2010, 02:49 AM
down again since 15 mins..

Posted by HTTP404, 04-09-2010, 04:45 AM
Is there any responce from iHostDev ?? Surely they must have notified there customers whats happening?

Posted by techdude20078, 04-12-2010, 06:19 PM
Down...and causing problems. Just shot off an email to Ryan and their Support Email.

It would be nice to have answers, since I am unable to do anything; Time is money.

If this keeps happening, I'm going to consider switching....

Posted by Jakd, 04-12-2010, 06:20 PM
He's trying to sell the company now ..

Posted by techdude20078, 04-12-2010, 06:25 PM

Hello,

I wanted to step in for Ryan to provide you guys with an update.
Currently there is an issue with Level 3 in the Arizona area that is bringing down some networks.

ihostdev is one of those that are effected. There is no ETA at the moment but things should be resolved shortly.

Hey, I used to have an account with you guys a while back. Great host...I would love for you guys to step in and take over; I would feel comfortable with you guys stepping in than some random buyer of the domain.....

Posted by Jakd, 04-12-2010, 06:56 PM
The problem is that if his site is down, it puts all of our admin areas down. I've got pending accounts and a few support tickets that I can't approve or answer.

Posted by techdude20078, 04-12-2010, 08:25 PM
You would think this problem would have been thought about during the development process.....

Techdude, Thanks! We are looking into possibly acquiring the company as it would be a good fit for what we do!

Thanks for the praise!

Also, on a side note, looks like they are back up

I can second that.

I would be very supportive of you taking over iHost; You are good at what you do, and I am confident that you would make iHost amazing.

Posted by techdude20078, 04-12-2010, 11:22 PM
Just kidding...seems to be back down.
