BIG BRAIN, LLC Rebrands Name to Big Brain Global Networks, Introduces CFO, CTO, and Updates Website

Reston, Virginia (September 4, 2012) Big Brain, LLC announced today that its hosting business has been renamed from Big Brain Host to Big Brain Global Networks and will be operating under the new domain www.bigbrainglobal.com. The name change reflects Big Brains vision and ultimate goal to manage services both domestically and internationally. In the coming months Big Brain Global Networks will expand its global footprint by launching virtual machines and dedicated server hosting in the U.K. A number of our clients are located in the U.K. and other European countries. Now is the time for Big Brain Global to seize additional market share, said Brian Smith, CEO. We feel the name more appropriately reflects who we are as a company and where we want our managed services to be.

In addition, Smith announced the appointment of Douglas Ciallella as the new Chief Financial Officer. Ciallella joins Big Brain Global Networks from YIPFolio, a financial and management consulting firm. He has extensive experience working with Fortune 50 companies and has enjoyed ample success in growing businesses. With YIPFolio, he was able to secure thousands of dollars in debt financing as well as open the doors for companies to land capital investments.

Ciallellas primary responsibilities will include capital management, employing cost savings efforts, as well as providing meaningful and accurate financial and management information. He will also play a key role in growing Big Brain Global Networks sales. I am very excited about this opportunity to work for Big Brain Global. I have seen a lot of growth in this industry over the past decade and look forward to some exciting times ahead, Ciallella explained. Myers has been in the hosting and IT industry for more than eight years. He comes skilled in automation, and equipped with vast experience in managing large-scale technical support help desks that oversee day-to-day operations. Myers began his career as a Level 1 Support representative and has previously owned K-Disk Networks, whose primary focus was providing a premium brand for Alpha & Master Resellers. Myers will be responsible for increasing automation and efficiency on internal and external platforms. He will also be focusing on improving uptime and ticket response speeds.
