ServerComplete DallasTX node down.

Sad to say, because I have neved had any single problem with this company so far, being customer for years.
But it's now been a 2 hours downtime because a whole node is down in Dallas, TX.

69.162.116.xx

Problem has been confirmed by support, and a tech is needed there.
No updates yet, over the situation...

It's night in Dallas, and this is not helping.

Getting worried every minute that passes.

Node is still down, techs at the datacenter are not even giving a response (sleeping?)

funny.

Its also curious that neither their backup service works ---

Services have been restored to the affected hardware node... If you have any questions, please contact us via ticket.

Also, cp.servercomplete.com is an invalid URL -- Backup services are, and have been for some time, managed from our client management system (Mission Control).

Just for information, my server is down already, this morning.
And the virtual complete panel to "try" to reboot the server, is not available, at this time.

An hour of downtime still... and no one from your support ticket can reboot my server, at this time. This for no reasons.

I have never received any mail recently or in the last few days, stating that there would have been, today, the long awaited "Nova" panel migration and I don't know if that's really the cause of this downtime.
If that is, customers should be advised prior, to prevent such situations...

You can understand that a downtime can cause problems... even more if it's not planned
It seems that Dallas network is having a lot of problems lately.

The server itself is back, but only the server, because cpanel/whm is not accessible.
Me and my patient customers cannot operate over databases for 6 hours now. No statement by SC.

Cpanel/Whm back. Issue solved. Server is now completely functional again.

It's a pity that ONLY Daniel can solve the situation when there are such problems, so far.

This issue was isolated to just your VPS and did not affect any further customers. The migration to Nova is completely irrelevant to the downtime you experienced... Your issue actually appeared to be a resource shortage causing services to halt.

Your container is back online now and I do apologize about the delay in getting you back up. The night tech, for whatever reason, did not know about the temporary access you could have been given to Nova while it is in the transitioning phases.
