Alerted in the middle of the night that all our services are down! Checking our sites and services, everything is up; except the fact that servint.net is not resolving from here (BSNL ISP, India) and their sites not working for us. Some DNS issue? Someone please call them to figure out. Both our monitoring systems currently show that our services are down though they are up and running!

As per their twitter updates, the issue is related to router interconnectivity and the Engg team is on top of it. And they would be resolving it soon. Hope they update the details here also.

After almost 2 hrs, our monitoring systems now show things as normal. We can also reach servint.net now.

Yes, everything up and running here as well.

Yes, everything seems back to normal.
Things fail when we least expect them to (weeends, for example)!
Handled well by ServInt. Matt has an update in the forums.

I have to say, in the five plus years we have been with Servint, I can only count a few times when there were any network issues.
They are rock solid.

We are with them for that long too! Their getting down to business first when a problem arises (rather than worrying about PR) is what we appreciate in them! Ultimately, we all want less downtime at the end of the day.
