Posted by ishan, 09-15-2010, 01:14 AM
I can't access any of our servers from India or LA, USA.

Posted by glace, 09-15-2010, 01:20 AM
It's weird. They are down from Germany including remote locations and my monitoring server in Germany.

However, they are up from EV1, they are up from hidemyass.com and they are up from http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

Here is the traceroute from Germany:
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms fritz.box [192.168.178.1]

Again from EV1 or US remote locations I can access nocster.com and my server without problems.

Same here, I'm with VolumeDrive though. It's working with Proxy but it's not working from my current location (Indonesia)

Since VD uses some of BurstNet Facility, I think I'm kinda get the gist of it :|

Using a proxy like anonymouse I can see my site, but with my ISP I can´t even log in to the support page to open a ticket.

Posted by glace, 09-15-2010, 01:27 AM
So it is up in the US right ? Just down overseas ? As everyone affected seems to be at least one ocean away from Burst.

Posted by MattS, 09-15-2010, 01:28 AM
Down for me too and I'm in the US. I can't access any of them but my friend in Florida can :/

Posted by glace, 09-15-2010, 01:31 AM
Can anyone open a ticket ? And point them to this threat. Just in case they are not aware of this outage ?

Posted by glace, 09-15-2010, 01:32 AM
Complaints are starting to come in...so yeah it's down in parts of the US, too.

Posted by qualityhostings, 09-15-2010, 01:32 AM

Among other things can be helpful in such cases to determine what might be causing it.

Greetings,

We experienced an issue with our XO connection (affecting inbound, and outbound traffic) that resulted in about 15% of our traffic being dropped for about 45 minutes last night. We are working with XO to determine the root cause of this issue and will post to our forums (http://forums.burst.net) once this is complete.

We apologize for an inconvenience this may have caused.

XO ....argh....

Some of my IPs have been down for over 2 hours and 18 minutes now. I just discovered this about an hour ago and submitted a ticket, but no one has answered it nor picked up the phone....
