Hello!

I have a VPS at NordicVPS. Everything went good, but my VPS was down and after I switched on, it shutted down again. I cannot boot now. Their website doesn't work (it gives me timeout), also I can't send a support ticket or see my invoices (I think everything is ok with my invoices).

Has anyone the same issues?

Hope, it's a temporary issue.

Its a temporary issue. Sorry for the downtime. We are working to bring the server back on the network. Homepage is hosted on the main node so its also unavailable right now.

Any estimated time?

A good idea are tho create a status site on another network so you can informed the customer if you have any network issue.

@Sajtxl: We are back online. Only one node experienced network downtime. We had a failure on a another node but that only caused a minor timeout.

@malle: All servers are using RAID10 (4/8 disks)

On your "Portal Home" you have this info:

20/09/2010 - Maintenance of the backbone infrastructure
Due to an expansion of the backbone are needed between 5:00 and 8:00 clock clock work on the.....
20/09/2010 - Maintenance of the power supply
DC perform scheduled maintenance on the power supply. Failures or disruptions are not.....

But, thats 20th September 2010, not 22th?

"between 5:00 and 8:00 clock" ?. am or pm?

Normally it's a good idea to send an email about this type of service on the nod

Backbone upgrade is scheduled between 05:00 am and 08:00 am on the 22th September 2010

Power upgrade is scheduled between 09:00 am on the 21th Sep 2010 and 06:00 pm on the 22th Sep 2010.

This will only affect customers in German DC.

(The date/time is dictated by the DC)
