Limestone Network Issues10/14

I noticed our limestone nodes were very slow to respond and the load was low so I called in and they stated that they were suffering from a 4 GB DDOS that they had mitigated a few minutes earlier but they are experiencing some other issues that they are working on now.

This has been going on for about 30 minutes. I am sure they will get it squared away quickly this is just and FYI.

I was wondering what was going on. Some of ours were really slow too but I figured putting in a ticket was a waste of time as they never admit to issues :-)

Yes, lately they cannot accept the problems.

We gladly take responsibility for issues pertaining to our network. Here is information regarding the latency recently experienced.

Two cross connects failed early Thursday morning and while they were being repaired a large DDOS caused some additional latency. The issue was resolved immediately after the cross connects were repaired. If you have any questions contact our Support department.

Have a great day everyone!

I wouldn't say that, when I called them on the phone and talked to support they readily explained the problem and took full responsibility which honestly put me at ease.

??? When did Limestone start offering phone support? Guess they always did -- odd.
