Yup i know but it should NOT be part of Burst thread. VD is not Burst it does not do VD justice calling them Burst !

Thanks volumedrive to damaged our work

Yes, we are currently down network wide due in part to the power explosion near our facility. Our technicians are working to restore generator power and will be powering all servers back online as well as our network gear. Updates will be provided shortly.

Thank you , I wish users start distinguishing VD as a separate entity from Burst.

And no offense here to you Josh/Jeff but please have courtesy to post a thread if such horrific situations arise in future so customers like myself do not have to scratch their heads wondering what is happening and why emails are getting bounced back. I know you guys are super duper busy but opening a thread here at WHT takes a minute or max of 2 but those 2 mins are well worth it !

PS: Will be following this thread for updates from VD end.

We couldn't post a thread due to the entire network being down at our facility. This being said, we are now restoring all services and will be posting updates on this thread.

Servers are slowly coming back online at this point. If you are still unable to connect to your server and or VPS account, please open a support ticket with support@volumedrive.com

my server is back

In addition, we'd also like to add to this thread that we are experiencing incoming tickets at a very high rate currently. We will respond to all issues as soon as possible. We have two remaining switches that are being powered back up, once they are online, it should resolve a majority of the servers that are down. If for some reason, your server is still down, please open the support ticket and we'll respond as soon as possible and provide you with a status update.

both servers are up, thank you all for the good work!

Looks like their connection to Burst (aka, their only backbone provider/their colocation provider) went out when the power went out at Burst.

All power and network services have been restored at this point. If anyone is still unable to access their server(s), please update your open support ticket and we'll look into the issue.

If you have an open support ticket we'll be responding to it as quickly as possible. We apologize for the delay, but we are working through a very large backlog of tickets.

I am trying to process that statement because i thought all smart phones have some sort of network available to go online , but i do not know if you guys have one of those smart phones or if the explosion knocked out entire cities network etc, if not they might come in handy when running a business as large as VD.

On side note: Server is back for me. Data seems to be intact as well. Thanks.

During an outage, we try an asses the situation and act as quickly as possible. If we are unable to resolve a problem quickly and then provide updates via support and a public forum such as WHT, we have larger issues at hand. Nonetheless, we are glad to see you are back online.

My server went back down last night around 9 PM Eastern time. I contacted support, but haven't heard anything for over 2 hours now. Server is still down, and we're coming up on the 48 hour email retry window (from the Thanksgiving downtime) really fast.

Neither of these numbers get through to VolumeDrive. Does anyone know their current working support number?
