I signed up with virpus a while back to find out that they had an unacceptable amount of downtime never set up my server did not respond to request for cancellation, offered a 50% refund uhm no I wanted the full refund services were never rendered then today they sent me a threating email trying to collect $50.00 because I charged them back they are a excuse my language a real bad host to deal with.

its a going theme over there. They charged my cc $50 bucks because they claimed I violated their tos by charging them back. Shady business virpus runs there. Reason I charged them back was they never set my vps up as ordered and told me that I was not important enough being a new client as the original clients were and then insulted me by offering a 50% refund. Needless to say I am not at all happy with those clowns. They are getting another charge back soon because of the unauthorized charge of 50 bucks to my credit card. Good luck to virpus.

Thanks

I would like to know if Ken or any of his asociates would expect to wait so long to get served in a restaurant or bar? My node has been down for over two hours now. the response to my initial ticket

Hello,

We have received your request and will update you soon on this.

Thanks

You have my money where is my service?? Surely you can't hide all your inadequancies in the small print for T&Cs. Is this an act of God? Has a tsunami hit Kansas? Or is it just that you can't be bothered to have helpful and knowledgeable staff on call 24 hours a day to service your customers?

Did they really charge you $50 for the chargeback? What happen if you chargeback the chargeback fee? They charge you $100 for 2x chargeback?

I'd assume they'd just send it to collections.....

---------

We're having network issues with our co-located gear in Kansas City as well these last few hours this morning - looks to be a larger issue with the datacenter, WholeSaleInternet.

I'm pretty sure that hitting a CC that just chargebacked for a chargeback fee is against most merchant agreements
