Anyone else's server down at 100TB.com / Softlayer?

Posted by chasebug, 04-19-2011, 12:37 AM
This is what I got from live chat about my servers being down.
Code:
Softlayer, our data center, has just confirmed problems with their router. Their network engineers are currently working to resolve the issue. No ETA has been given, but a quick fix is anticipated by Softlayer support.
Seems like 100TB.com customer portal is down also so you can't open any tickets:

All our servers are up. what location you have your servers?

Been down since about 11:15 CST. They claim it's only intermittent packet loss, and status.softlayer says it's "up", but it's down. As Steven said, this will only affect Seattle.

Reportedly the temporary fix did not work, and after brief uptime the path went down. Now working to upgrade the router to the latest IOS version as a lasting fix.
