Posted by dnlrdgrs4, 06-21-2011, 12:36 AM
Is anyone having issues with limestonetworks.

There whole network on the UK-Side seems, Very sluggish taking a while to load sites, Where the traceroute seem's fine, I'm not sure if everyone is facing any issues like this.

We are facing issues globally as well. The network is going up and down. I never received a mass email, but came to learn from someone that this email was sent a while back. I have pasted it below.

Quote:
Dear Valued Limestone Networks Client,

You are receiving this notification because Limestone Networks has scheduled a maintenance window to perform work on several core network routers which provide carrier bandwidth to our facility. We do not anticipate any substantial network outage as a result of this maintenance. The routers being maintained are configured as a redundant pair, and only one will be taken offline at a time.

The maintenance window is scheduled from Sunday, June 19th, 2011 22:00 to Monday June 20th, 2011 06:00 CDT. During this time clients may notice suboptimal routing or temporarily increased latency on certain paths. No servers are expected to lose power during the maintenance window.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Please feel free to contact us via email (support@limestonenetworks.com) via our ticket system (http://rw.limestonenetworks.com) or our live chat system (www.limestonenetworks.com) if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Regards,

Got the same unstable network here. Can't even login to rockware so I guess they are aware of the problem.

I thought this isn't the time within the Maintenance Window they quoted.

Maintenance window seems to be quite long... never had issues with Limestone before and would recommend them anytime. Hopefully they will expedite this to be fixed sooner than scheduled, because it is really affecting our clients & business.

I spoke to a network engineer, and they are looking into it.

The maintenance window was actually last night -- not tonight.

Thanks for the update Mike. Do you have an ETA on when everything will be completely back to normal?

Appreciated,
- Brian

I spoke to another network engineer, who advised me that it is being looked into and they are attempting to resolve it as soon as possible. I do not have an ETA yet, though. Sorry, Brian!

Things appear to be back online now. I hope it's for good and not temporary.

I am waiting for final word from the network engineers, but I also saw the network connectivity come back around seven minutes ago from what I could observe. That is only my own unofficial update, though!

Everything appears to be stable for the last 30 minutes. Thanks as always for the great service Limestone. Keep up the great work.

The network issues were resolved around 12:00 AM CST. If you have questions or are still experiencing issues please open a support ticket in Rockware.
