...is it just me or is it really down?

www.flipperhost.com is their page, none of my websites work, I can't login to WHM either...

I get 75% packet loss here and their site loads awfully slow.
Are you saying they have their site on the same server as their hosted accounts?

I'm not sure about that, though it's possible. Their site does not open to me and none of my sites hosted there open either, so.. :/

Have you tried to contact them? Mail might still get through although the chances are slim when they go down with their customers.

Their contact page consists only of contact form, but I did write them an email, also added the owner (I believe the user "Ceko" from this forum is the person) on msn ... we'll see what happens.

Edit: So far, I've never had any problems with them, indeed very good hosting and fulfills everything I need from a webhosting provider.

We greatly apologize again and would like to announce that we have eliminated the SYN Flood attack and all sites at our Linux shared server are back online.
