plusbrain.com hosting down or they (plusbrain) got suspended?

I've had a site hosted with plusbrain's cheapest $1 a month plan ($12 paid yearly) since 3/2009. Went to check on the site today and I see "Account Suspended". Thinking... Whoops probably missed an invoice. So I search email and see they never billed me in 3/2011 like they should have. Last invoice was 3/2010. I go to plusbrain.com only to see the same message "Account Suspended". Nice. No notice nothing. Never had a single issue or needed a support ticket with them for 2.5 years since day 1 as a customer.

Well, at $1 a month I definitely get what I pay for. Unfortunately, according to my Analytics this happened probably in the last 25-30 days. I didn't even notice til now they never invoiced me like they should have in 3/2011!

But it looks like their whole site is down, like I said for the cheap price no surprise. Sadly, with no notice Google banished my site from its #1 position for its main (yet tiny) bit of traffic / keywords.

So this is partially a shout out if you have plusbrian your stuff maybe be down without ANY notice and your files unrecoverable. It is also a question to anyone have any idea whats up with plusbrain? I will just move my site to another provider, once I find wherever I backed up my files to.

It appears they are hosted by SoftLayer might wanna speak with softlayer to see if you'd be able to give you a backup. Well good luck

This has been discussed many times in the past.

Chances are plusbrain.com got suspended due to abuse, or maybe non-payment.

Softlayer has no legal obligation to give the OP his website files, since the OP isn't a client of Softlayer. He's only hope is to try and get hold of someone at plusbrain and find out what's going on
