Incero Maintenance

Posted by gordonrp, 12-03-2011, 03:51 AM
Incero is performing critical maintenance on and have disabled our client portal site and all of our remote access networks (kvm, vpn, proxies). All remote access protocols for managed clients are currently disabled, as well as select protocols (SSH, FTP, cpanel/whm ports) for unmanaged clients.

Apologies for the short notice, all of us are working on this until the works are completed.

Please do not email or call us unless absolutely urgent, so that we may remain focused and restore full service ASAP.

Servers overdue to be deployed will be delayed at least 48 hours.

Thank you for your understanding, we will email clients with updates when all is restored.

Works are continuing, we will update clients ASAP. Thank you for your patience.

I didn't see the other replies because I wasn't subscribed.

Based on what I have read and experienced, the difference in service level is managed vs unmanaged, not discounted vs full price, as suggested in the quote in Androw's post.

EDIT: And our main services are still online. Have you looked at the rest of the threads in this section? IMHO we have it made.

Hi Gordon,

What's the nature of the maintenance? It seems worry some to me that your filtering SSH/WHM/FTP ports on all your unmanaged clients right now, lasting so far a day and a half. Did you guys have some sort of security breach?

Maintenance has been completed. No further updates will be posted here.

For sales/order delay queries, or if you require a refund, contact sales@incero.com. Otherwise your server will be deployed ASAP.

Thank you.

We have been very clear about why things were delayed, and that we're deploying servers this week as fast as possible. If you're not happy with that then that's perfectly understandable, ask for a refund.

Also, our original deployment target was by the end of Dec 2nd ("the week of Nov 28th to Dec 2nd"), we are currently 3 business days behind that. Not "10 days."

The most recent emails were sent on Monday:
Quote:
Deployment of our E3-1230 servers has obviously been delayed due to network maintenance this past week. We will start deploying these orders later this week. If you can not wait for your order we certainly understand and can refund all orders placed without SSD drives. Just send an email to sales@incero.com requesting a refund.

Thank you,
Incero

As always, when your E3-1230 promo server is deployed the billing date will be updated to match the deployment date, you're not paying for time spent waiting for the server!

Thank you,
Incero

Gordon: Just a bump about portal maintenance

Over server is down Ref: [Ticket ID: 184469]/Server736 and we cant open a ticket on the portal because it looks down too.

Any ideas?

[UPDATE: Must have been a network problem. Seems resolved now]

Portal is at a third party location and is up https://portal.incero.com.

Our Dallas network flapped for about 20 mins from 12:02AM CST.
