LONDON, UK January 16, 2013  Yet another high profile Government official made their way to Netwise Hostings award-winning South London data centre this week, this time being Grant Shapps MP, Conservative Party Co-Chairman.

The visit formed part of an on-going initiative by Government to encourage more young people into business, highlighting Netwise Hosting as a key success story for Londons future entrepreneurs. Shapps and his team spent the morning with the management team at Netwise, who were happy to share their engaging story, and give comment on their own experiences as young businessmen.

Grant and his team have shown a tremendous amount of support to Netwise Hosting as a growing business, and have indicated a keen interest in how things progress for the firm in 2013 - already poised to be the companys most successful year to date.

The last headline-grabbing visitor to the facility was Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, who officially opened the then infant data centre in May 2012.

As well as gaining a general understanding for the business and how it was set up, Shapps also enjoyed a full tour of the data centre, highlighting Netwise Hostings clever use of modern, green technologies in delivering some of Londons most affordable colocation services.

Shapps has been campaigning alongside Paul Scully, a hopeful candidate running for local MP of Sutton & Cheam, the affluent home borough of award-winning Netwise Hostings NH:DC1 facility.
