My sites are on line, I think the problem is only on the main site EZPZHOSTING, you have a problem with your sites?

Posted by smerrikin, 12-21-2011, 11:12 PM
No no. Thankfully my sites are finally running. I have had a hard 2 months with ezpz. Hdd replacement. Chassis replacement. DNs issues. Installing ssl wrong. And a couple more. All seems fine now except a little slow loading and incorrect whm quotas

ezpzhosting already online

Websites do go down from time to time. No big deal if their corporate site was down for a short while...

Posted by deepabookmark, 12-22-2011, 01:47 AM
if corporate site will down then how we trust our service is good.

Where as we can't maintain our own site how we tell we will take care of yours.

You have to understand that even Google had its downtimes.. There's no realistic way to achieve 100% uptime perpetually at the moment.

Some time emergency maintenance can cause such problem because in the end we all knew that the web site is hosted on server and no one can give you 100% guarantee and we don't was the exact cause .....

If its daily problem then provider have to make some web site status blog, where he can update the status of current situation........

Agree, it happens, this can consider it normal.

Yes, if it's a few minutes.

Even if it's an extended period of time, it doesn't mean you should go into a panic and start bailing on them.

One site down, doesn't mean there is a company wide problem.

Their reseller server US1 is currently down.

My last tickets have taken hours to be answered, I do not know what is happening in ezpzhosting.

It up for me.

You must be checking there website and not the particular server which is still down.

Still not received a single reply from them.

US7 currently appears to be down. It's been a tough month for US7 as well. Bad backplane, Litespeed problem, and now this. To their credit, their staff has been very responsive once I call it to their attention. And their speed / service is otherwise outstanding.

Hopefully this will be the last US7 outage for a long, long while.

I hope so too. This is beyond painful. I am seriously considering pulling my sites. Too much downtime in one month to be worth it. Wonder why it's down this time?

I don't know.

Even the most robust, most secure, most redundant hosts on the planet go down from time to time. Sometimes, by sheer coincidence, downtime happens in rapid succession. It doesn't make it any easier to ride out, but it does happen.

EZPZ's support has been stellar for me, and their outstanding reputation on here seems well-earned. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt here and assume that they're as frustrated as I am. However, once this gets ironed out, I think I'm going to ask to be moved to a different server.

EDIT: Just got word that they're working on it right now.

Their support is without a doubt excellent, but their uptime is pretty questionable. Having several hours of downtime every few months per server seem like a frequent thing over there...

Worse, no one to know what the Seems problem is, honestly I'm very disappointed, for several days I asked my server change, but they seem to have a lot of work because they have not done it.

16hrs of downtime for me and my clients this month. Have stared doubting my decision to move from InnoHosting to Ezpz.

I agree, honestly, if I write a review of my experience with ezpzhosting undoubtedly would be very bad, I have two months with them and really the service has been dismal, with frequent server problems and have spent hours on occasions to answer tickets.

Contact Rameen and see what he can do for you.

The majority of the issues we've been having have been due to poor hardware from Softlayer, with drives being installed that already have errors.

Investigations on this server are also showing a drive issue. Needless to say we are not going to be using Softlayer for future servers and will be seeking another provider in Dallas.

Anyone affected by this will be credited as per our SLA.

Thanks Dan, but I've already received a credit for your first outage this month.

Your staff has bent over backwards answering all of my questions ranging from WHMCS setup to general server management. Your customer service in this regard is absolutely second to none. But this downtime is getting a little frustrating.

After reading really positive reviews for ezpz on this forum (and elsewhere), I moved to ezpz in October. My sites are hosted on US7.

My recent experience with them has been really disappointing. In the month of December, we've have 52 outages totaling over 33 hours of down time.

The longest downtime (on Dec 8) lasted nearly 11 hours. After that incident , I was told by ezpz support that the entire server was replaced. I thought with new equipment we'd be problem-free for a while. But then on Dec 23/24, we're down for 5 hours and again on Dec. 27 we have another 5-hour outage.

Some posts suggest asking to be moved to a different server, however, the ezpz server uptime/status page does not display correct information. So, it's impossible to know if their other servers are having similar troubles.

It is really frustrating. I understand that there is no such thing as 100% uptime - but the recent problems are surprising based on past reviews and alarming because they seem to be coming more frequently.

Funny thing is, after the first December outage I moved to another host. I wound up coming back to EZPZ after a week because I thought my decision to bail was pretty harsh, and the other host didn't have the nice extras that EZPZ has (Litespeed, WHM load monitoring, VPS resale on demand, etc). I also figured that they'd get everything straightened out after that particular outage. So I came back.

Then it happened again.

They're back up now, after about five hours of downtime. I can't stress enough how great EZPZ's customer service has been, and I can sympathize with them if their provider is giving them bad hardware. But I can't have my sites going down every other week. Their outstanding support has bought them another chance, so here's hoping this is finally the end of it.

Well I was with UK2 at first as a reseller, and just as we launced we got a downtime of over 24hours, and after that we've had some problems with slow load times, so requested a move to another server and got moved to the new UK15, and uptime and loadtimes have been top notch and the support they give is very good as well.

I have been with them for more than one year and their uptime and support was excellent. Today is the first time, I have been experiencing issue for more than 6 hours now that their server refusing connections to port 80 and 443. So cannot open any websites using http or https. We can open the control panels to port 2082,2086 etc. But it shows error if we try login.

One of my friend has hosting with them on SRV15 but it is not affected. So I think this issue is isolated only to server SRV11 from their Kent facility.

6 hours before,me and my clients had the issue unable to login to WHMCS or any other control panels (Joomla). That time I checked in WHM server status and found the "/tmp" and "/var/tmp" mount point was 100% used. I received reply for my support ticket saying "This should return to normal in a few minutes." but unfortunately now its all down.

I'm getting replies to my support ticket saying they are looking into the issue. But not resolved yet. Their last reply was

--
We are still working on this and appreciate you're patience. We are awaiting the datacenter technicians to advise us what could be the possible issue here.

We understand this affects you and, again, appreciate your patience -- we will have this resolved as soon as possible.
--

May be I will lose some of my clients who are using for web based billing and today is the last working day of this year for their business.

Now it is 15.34PM here and the day is almost over. Still have hope

It'll still be the same - SRV15 is the start of the new spec hardware so won't suffer like previous servers.

New hardware is on the way to replace all older servers.

Posted by Losvre, 01-30-2012, 05:05 PM
I was talking about UK2 servers as I thought Azara was referring to them not you Dan.

I am sure EZPZ will be back top and shine again:-)
