ServerTag down??

Posted by demssite, 01-02-2012, 05:43 AM
Hi mates, is anybody sufferyng the downtime from Servertag since 29th of December, on that day it was a maintenance window to relocate servers to their new data centre and it was supposed to last 3 hours, and right now it's still down. I've sent like 4 or 5 emails to them and different accounts, try to speak by msn and no answer, nobody sent me an email to tell me what's going on. The only calls i'n receiving is my angry clients they can't send their newsletter to congratulate the new year or they can't work cause they don't have mail or they have lost something important cause they don't have mail, and they ask me for refund and some of them will leave my hosting (refunding them money of course).

Till today i had no complaints about ServerTag but i think this have gone so far specialle the misinformation poilicy they have taken.

I hope the problem will be solved ASAP and if theres anybody roundhere with the same problem tell if he have any answer or something.

Assuming you're with the same ServerTag, their website http://www.servertag.com/ say's they're under emergency maintenance mode:

Server Tag is currently under emergency maintenance mode.
Doesn't seem like a good sign, however at least they have acknowledged the problem.

Wow sounds like the host is having a major problem may be time to start looking for a new host now.

At least they must inform their clients the reason for this delay.

Did any of you try to email the address posted on the website? or try to call them?

I tried to "contact support@servertag.com for further assistance" with no luck. Nobody seems to monitor that email.

Their web site is now back online and they started replying to the tickets.
My dedicated server has got new IP address and I was able to login.
I discovered the server uptime was 4 days. This means it was relocated and connected to the network but they did not provide me with the new server information. Bad communication.

You may want to double-check your emails, they sent out announcements prior to the migration they did, month or so in advance.
