Posted by bobbyrabbit, 01-18-2012, 03:38 AM
I contacted the guy who posts the offers here for the company. No reply as yet and still down.

Just had a reply from support...appreciated, thanks

apologies regarding this it seems to be more of a network issue than a hardware one other than the reboot this morning the node was reading at 100 percent uptime.

Still down - any updates DMBHOSTING?

Posted by bobbyrabbit, 01-18-2012, 02:00 PM
Around lunchtime the server was up and down. Since about 2pm it has been completely inaccessible. Is it practice for hosting companies to have their website on the same server as their clients?

As their website and my VPS has been briefly on and off in the last 24 hours. I'm going to have to move hosts, unfortunately I have only had the server for 11 days, so not impressed. Especially as the recommendation came from QualityServers/UKCloud (my previous hosts), who dealt with their imminent transfer to UK Cloud excellently by the way.

Their has been no follow up in these forums from the owners. I did send a private message to daimon666 this morning from here, but no reply. I did manage to get a support ticket with the above reply while their website was up briefly.

I'm sorry I have to write this, but I do get pretty angry when the least they can do is keep their customers informed.

Well, as soon as I sent the above post, the VPS and their website all fires up again. Thats the 2nd time today!! How long will it last this time.

Down again! You're obviously having big problems.

Posted by GetKVM_Ash, 01-18-2012, 04:27 PM
Looks like they are having some serious issues, im sure Daimon is trying to get things sorted. But no its not good practice to have your billing system and website on one of your VPS nodes, because of situations such as this one.

*Update* I dont know if your a member on LET but if you aren't Daimon posted this message..

"All our nodes are in the same data centre in Manchester however the billing system is in a different dc. I do apologise for the issues but please rest assured we are working full time on resolving the issue. Any of our customers on the affected shared hosting or openvz node will be refunded the full months payment however we need to deal with the issue before handing out credits or refunds. Again please accept my apologies and rest assured we are working to resolve the issue."

Thanks for that update. It is unfortunate when problems like this happen and I don't envy them. Unfortunately I've just had to purchase a new VPS as I can't really be down for this amount of time.

Does anyone have an update?
My VPS is down again and the websites are unavailable.

I have tried communicating via twitter but nothing - does anyone know if these guys are still in business?

It looks like they are on the way out, if not already. If your VPS is active at any point, grab your data. There was a lot of info on lowendbox, but unfortunately they are down at the moment too.
