BurstNet node issues?

Is it just me or is anyone else with a vps in the manchester datacentre having issues? It seems mysql has failed and won't restart on my vps, and i have constant high load...currently 17.20 or around that.

I've tried rebooting it, but it just came back online with the same high load and mysql is still not running. I've managed to access veportal once, but since then, I can't access it.

I can get in via ssh, but the session seems to hang after entering my password.

WHM and cpanel still load, but it's running very slow.

Sounds like someone else on the VPS is using a ton of Disk I/O or has some process running racking up the overall load maliciously. You should open a ticket with burst if you haven't already.

Looks like they might have just noticed and fixed it. My VPS went completely offline for about 4 minutes before coming back up, and mysql is running again.

The load averages seem normal now, and veportal is loading with no problems now.

Hello.

While I do not (from what is given here) know what node your VPS is located on, I am glad to see that the load returned to normal.

Please note, the most efficient way to inform us of an issue currently going on, is to use our ticket system. I personally assure you that you will get a quicker response that addresses the issue you are having by utilizing our ticket system for our support department.

Finally, as I am sure most customers using a VPS are aware, when on a shared node, there are times when other users will abuse resources such as I/O, bandwidth, etc. We do have a myriad of tools to monitor such instances, however if you or any of our customers experience irregularities with their service, we encourage our customers to submit a ticket so that our support staff may investigate the problem and rectify it promptly.
