ColoUnlimited / CorExchange Down?

Posted by Nex7, 02-11-2012, 02:11 AM
Can't hit my server, nor its IPMI, and perhaps more notably I can't get to colounlimited.com nor corexchange.com.

I am seeing some sort of downtime as well. Though oddly enough not from all locations. Servers at SL can reach them as can our external monitoring apparently.

yea! entire network down.

I'm getting up and down alerts from Pingdom, but it seems to be down completely for me. Oddly though, the tracerts are showing it dying well before it reaches the datacenter though.

I've tried giving them a call. No luck with 877 number. 214 number finally went to a busy signal. I'm sure they know about the downtime but at this point we don't even have any means to get an update with their own sites being down as well.

I hate to admit not knowing, I should have checked -- do they not have a status page hosted off-network?

I don't think they have an official status page off network. Perhaps we'll see something posted to their Twitter accounts.

EDIT seems everything is back up, been with them for a year now, had two outages in that time (including this one), both outages were under 30 minutes very impressed

Website is opening fine for me now.

Phone are probably "water-logged" aka stuffed full to the point they aren't working, I doubt they just shut the phones off.

Everything is up now again there.

I can confirm that all is online now. Though like AgServer failed traceroutes weren't even getting close to their data center so I'm interested to know the details of this apparent routing problem.

Yup, confirmed it is responding for me again -- now back to trying to figure out why the eth0 port on the box refuses to negotiate at over 10 Mb, but the eth1 port is fine.. sigh..
