COLO@ Facility Successfully Completes SSAE-16 Type II Audit

Technical services & colocation provider, COLO@, a member of the Total Server Solutions family of brands (http://www.coloat.com) released news today that their data center facility located at 34 Peachtree St. in Atlanta, GA has successfully completed a full SSAE-16 Type II audit. This audit recognizes that the COLO@34 facility is fully compliant with the SSAE-16 Type II standard. The audit further attests that servers inside of the facility are completely secured and reside in an environment that adheres to documented best practices to keep customer data secure and available at all times.

Gary Simat, CEO of COLO@ stated that "Meeting this strict standard is our assurance to our customers that we utilize the best practices and controls for maintaining security and a safe environment for our customers' equipment."

Specifically, this audit examined COLO@ environmental controls, redundant power systems (including UPS & generator backup), fire suppression, video surveillance, and access control (including biometrics, badge readers, and individual locking cabinets). Diverse carrier feeds were also taken into account during this audit. This audit found that the COLO@34 facility in Atlanta, GA is 100% compliant with controls.
