alienlayer works great last time
but now

i dont recommend them!

vps - uptime within 24hours = 5x a day downtime/including lag spikes

reseller hosting - downtime same as vps when there vps is down ..

Are they down right now or is this more of a review?

They are down right now, no answer for my support ticket.
I'm a shared web hosting customer by the way, under ufohost.net
Hopefully they are trying to solve the issue.

I'm currently calling for you. They had a rather interesting menu option, but their hold music is very annoying.

Edit:
No one was on, so I left a message asking them to come check this thread out. Sorry.

Jump ship. You've waited long enough.

Thank you very much for trying to help.

They came back today and I already backed up my websites and I'm probably going to move them to a more reliable host.

By the way this is what I'm getting on UFOHost's CPanel right now:

Quote:
TRIAL LICENSE
This copy of cPanel / WHM is a trial version and will expire at the end of the trial term. You will need to upgrade to a paid copy of cPanel / WHM to continue using the software after that term.
and their SSL certificate can't be verified either.

Still no notification released or support ticket answer from AlienLayer, what a sad joke.

I find it odd, though, that they have so many customers and you're the only one here. Normally, there would be a mob with pitchforks. I'm going to go check LEB.

Most customers are probably using AlienVPS and not UFOHost, I decided to go for a shared hosting package with CPanel because it's more comfortable for me when im creating many small niche sites, I have a yearly VPS from them as well for a bigger website of mine which didn't crash.

I'm going to move all my hosting somewhere else after this "incident" they have no support at all and the saga is not over yet it seems.

If they won't answer my support ticket in the next two to three days which makes it a week I'm going to force a refund from PayPal.

Typically this would happen if your VPS container was moved to a different node with a cPanel license that hasn't been activated via their website or through their server provider. Are you sure that your site's A record hasn't changed to a new I.P.?

Nonetheless, I nudged AlienLayer on Twitter (@alienlayer) with a link to this thread. Hopefully it all gets worked out.
