Verizon issues this morning

We're getting phone calls only from verizon customers this morning saying they can't get their email.. and then we find out they can't get to some websites either. We experienced the same thing until we routed our office out our comcast line instead of verizon.. Anyone know an official word from verizon about it yet?

Verizon has a recording on their phone system saying there was an outage in our area (eastern PA)..
