JaguarPC down again??

Looks like it is time to start moving our legacy accounts from our reseller account at JPC to our own servers. It has been a great 4 years but we just can't afford such frequent outages

Been with them for almost 7 years. This recent month's outage was one of a kind. I was also thinking of switching but I think I will let this pass since the past 7 years have been acceptable.

If there's anything I absolutely hate is the 3 levels of support they implement. It usually takes hours for level 3 support to respond. I think they could do better if they get rid of level 1 and 2 for good. I'm not really defending JPC but I can't complain much for the price they offer.

IMO, if they hire more level 3 support guys and get rid of level 1 and 2, they will win.

No downtime here in the past 9 days.
Individual servers or accounts being down is really not an "outage".

I'm inclined to agree but it does raise an interesting point: a single server offline at a tiny shared hosting provider may certainly be an outage while a single server in a colo facility would certainly not. Maybe it just depends on the number of agitated customers?
